I like how is online (not local install) and caters to the independent contractor as well as corporate level. Initiating payments online, online review of invoice and reporting tools, templates for invoices and different billing states, to-the-point reporting options, fantastic dashboard with financial overview. There are too many things to point out. For a contractor/freelancer Invoiced handles all my billing and reporting needs.

I came from 2 other online invoicing software (one that had eventually shut down service entirely) and 1 local (Windows) version. I started with Invoiced in their earlier years on a very generous free user account and have been with them since. When I moved to subscription based the service was great and support couldn't have been better for a small growing company. It's been a great tool ever since and I recommend it to all my freelancer and consultant acquaintances."
