We're releasing an exciting new feature in beta today that developers are sure to love: webhooks! What's a webhook? A webhook is an HTTP callback that notifies your systems whenever important events happen within Invoiced, like an invoice being paid or a subscription becoming past due.
Webhooks are perfect for keeping your backoffice systems in sync with activity happening on Invoiced. We believe that the best (and most profitable) businesses achieve scale by automating their accounts receivables. Webhooks can be an invaluable tool towards that goal. They make building robust integrations much easier for developers. You can learn more in our Webhooks Guide.
There are many interesting use cases for webhooks such as:
- Recording an entry in the books after receiving a payment
- Updating your membership system when a subscription renews or becomes past due
- Triggering a shipment once an invoice has been paid
These are just a few of the possibilities to up your automation game with webhooks. We look forward to seeing what you build. As always drop us a line at hello@invoiced.com with any questions or comments. Happy invoicing!
